In spite of various research studies highlighting the importance of strength in second/foreign language (L2) understanding, a comprehensive understanding of its relationship with L2 accomplishment is lacking. This research systematically manufactures study on the relationship between strength and L2 understanding. It includes 35 correlation coefficients from 14 primary research studies across countries, with a cumulative sample size of 20,576, published in between 2017 and 2024.
