Licensing a product via CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) differs vastly from an Enterprise Agreement. Expertise in one doesn’t translate to the other.

MCA, on which CSP is based, is gaining significance for large organizations due to Microsoft’s commitment to migrating all enterprises to the Microsoft Customer Agreement for Enterprises (MCA-E), essentially a CSP model for large entities. While the timeframe for this migration is uncertain, MCA is undeniably the future of Microsoft licensing.

MCA operates differently from traditional licensing, notably lacking Software Assurance. The same benefits are offered through alternative mechanisms, requiring a new understanding of the licensing landscape.
